Fitting Into Fitness
Fitting Into Fitness is a 10 session exercise program designed to teach participants how to create their own fitness plan. This engaging program is led by an exercise physiologist/health educator and can be brought on-site to your workplace.
Aerobic, strength and flexibility components are discussed in theory, then demonstrated and incorporated into a personalized exercise program. Guided by the American College of Sports Medicine Fitness Book, participants learn through assessments and demonstrations how to get started, then safely and effectively progress.
Along with accurate information from a trained professional, participants will receive motivation and support to encourage an active and fit lifestyle.
Participants will receive:
- The highly regarded 175-page copy of the American College of Sports Medicine Fitness Book.
- Home based fitness assessments to gauge a starting point
- On-site demonstrations of proper exercise techniques
- Professional expertise of an exercise physiologist
- Information, motivation and support to develop a personal exercise program
